Again as part of the talented team at Territory, I came on board to flesh out concepts and art direction for screens on Marvel's sequel to The Avengers. Over the period of a few months I was involved with researching, concepting and ultimately leading the design process for Dr Cho's medical lab, and Dr Banner's research laboratory screens. We researched the most advanced technologies currently available in medical science, and took it a step further to create a look that reflected the futuristic technology at the disposal of the Avengers, and that felt right to sit within the Marvel universe. As well as Dr Cho and Dr Banner, I created additional designs for Hydra, The Chitauri, and Tony Stark.
All concepts and designs shown below are created by myself, the lovely 3D elements were supplied by the in-house team at Territory. I had to work closely with the 3D guys (thanks Peter and Nik!!) to establish what was needed for the screen, but their skills took it to the level we needed to convey the tech.
This was a great project to be involved with and the whole team pushed each other constantly. We ended up creating over 200 screens across 11 sets, so a pretty large task collectively. Massive thanks to all involved.
